Help Us Restore a Part of Estes Park History
The Stanley Home is a remarkable example of early 1900 Colonial Revival architecture in the United States. While the home is in remarkable condition, there is still much work to be done to restore the home to its original condition.
Since the Foundation was formed in October 2016, many milestones have been passed on the way to the purchase of the 1904 home of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley on January 31, 2020. In order to meet Town of Estes Park requirements and enable us to obtain a certificate of occupancy and museum business license, the items listed below are required to be completed before we can open the Stanley Home Museum on May 1, 2021. We are now conducting the Restoration Campaign of 2020 to provide resources for the costs listed below. Achieving these improvements will be the last milestone to clear before opening the home for many decades to come. Thank you for your partnership with The Historic Stanley Home Foundation.
